What Customers Say

AI analysis of 10 Google reviews

Top Strengths

Strong technical expertise - Ray and Irwin noted as 'very thorough' with attic/roof/vent work; shingle replacement praised as 'first rate workmanship'

Professional installation execution when crews show up - windows/doors 'fit perfectly', siding work 'done quickly and professionally'

Knowledgeable and friendly sales staff - initial quote process described as 'knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy'

Areas to Watch

Critical follow-up and project completion failures - multiple customers report months of delays (5 months for siding fixes, November vs October for doors/window, ongoing caulking requests ignored)

Quality control issues on installation details - soffit pucks only drilled through fake soffits not real wood; door installed wrong colour; siding holes cut too large causing bowing; missing caulking around door

Poor communication and accountability - customers repeatedly told 'we expect someone in a few weeks' with no follow-through; sales rep on leave of absence with no handoff; voicemails not returned

Warranty/damage disputes - ice dam damage (10k) caused by improper soffit work met with token $175 loyalty discount rather than substantive resolution

Ray and Irwin did me a big favor. Ray did major attic/roof/suntunnel/vent work for me a couple of years ago. I just wanted some advice on a sun tunnel issue and a check on the rest of the work. They fitted me in on a busy day and came and did a thorough check of everything. They carefully walked me thru it all (including with pics). They also answered my sun tunnel concern in detail. These guys know their stuff and are very thorough. I was lucky to have them.
